AGBU Young Professional of Los Angeles announces:
"Day at the Beach!"



Join the AGBU YP's at Manhattan beach for some sun and fun. There is no
specific itinerary for the day - just come down and hang out with the YPs at
the beach. In the morning, we will play a friendly match of beach
volleyball. 

At 6:00 PM, we will be meeting at the "Rock 'N Fish" restaurant for dinner -
120 Manhattan Beach Blvd., Manhattan Beach, CA 90266, 310-379-9900 (you can
also use this address for mapquest driving directions). 

For those who do not want to stay for dinner, there will be a concert at
Polliwog Park Amphitheater from 5-7pm if you would like to attend. (Click on

Please bring with you: swimsuits, extra clothes, sunblock, chairs/towels,
and your own drinks/food for lunch (If you'd like, you can also buy
drinks/food at nearby restaurants).

Time:              11:00 AM
Location:       We will be meeting at the Manhattan Beach Pier (located at
the end of 

Manhattan Beach Blvd.) And from there, we will move to a nearby spot on the
beach to hang out and play Volleyball.

Directions:    From Glendale, take 5S, 110S, 105W (to Norwalk/LAX), Take the
CA-1 S exit,  Bear right at North Sepulveda Blvd, Continue on South
Sepulveda Blvd, Continue on North Sepulveda Blvd, Turn right at Manhattan
Beach Blvd. and head all the way down to the pier. 

Parking:         Parking is metered on the streets above the pier. One good
street to park on is Manhattan Avenue which crosses Manhattan Beach Blvd.
There is metered parking also available right by the pier/beach at the end
of Manhattan Beach Blvd. There are some parking structures nearby the pier
for flat parking rates. Carpooling is highly recommended.
